Last Day

Today was our last day at ALG .... some of us 'forever' and some of us, a few months.

What did we do ?? We played!!!! We could not go out because it was raining but that didn't stop us from having a blast indoors.

We pet our chicks, we played with shaving cream and music Dianne came. We kinda cut loose most of the day - loads of fun!

So - have a great summer!!!

ALG June 2nd

We had a great day at ALG. It was warm and sunny and we spent a lot of time outside. We were a week late on our chicken hatching countdown so we decided to open the eggs and see what happened. Most of the eggs hadn't even started, one had a little start on a baby chick and one, only one, out of the whole batch almost made it. The little chick inside even had its wings developed. Pickett thinks that the eggs had too much temperature extreme in the first few days and that is probably what hurt them. We then played in the side yard, cleaning up vines and making nests with them, working in the garden, playing in the sandbox and running around. We're all feeling a little excited about summer coming!

Our final Monday of the ALG school year! We took advantage of the sunny day and spent most of the morning playing in the side yard. We pulled long vines out of the trees and weeded the garden. There were rounds of duck-duck-goose with Tiffany as well as nest making in the forest. We even managed to lift the lids off the sandbox for some good, sandy play!
